Calhoun Head Start will be closed tomorrow due to lack of coverage. This is Head Start only. CES PreK - 8th grade is still in session including noon basketball game.

Thank you, Minks, for a record setting canned food drive. Our school totaled 3,376 items collected! Mrs. Parkison's 4th grade wins an ice cream sundae party collecting 956! Congratulations, but the REAL winner is the Calhoun Community Food Pantry!

Congratulations to fifth graders Colt Rymer for winning 1st place and Jenna Ricehson for placing 3rd place in McMinn County's World Milk Day Dairy Poster Contest sponsored by Mayfield Dairy Farms. Way to go!

Just a reminder:
Per Transportation Department guidelines, students may not ride any other bus or get off at any other stop other than what is designated in their school records. This means students may not ride home with friends, even with a parent note.


After Week 1, Mrs. Keylon's 8th Grade has the most number of items collected for the Calhoun Community Food Pantry. Our homeroom competition ends Friday, November 19th at 3 pm!
