Schools closed amid COVID-19 concerns - Story updated 4/16

Updated April 16

At the request of Governor Bill Lee, McMinn County School buildings will be closed for students through May 21, 2020.  Although buildings are closed to students, education will still continue.  We will continue to provide optional educational packets and FREE breakfast and lunch for students under the age of 18.

We will also begin providing opportunities for students to improve the grade they had when we left school on March 13.  Teachers will be in contact with students to discuss options for improving grades if desired.  More details will be forthcoming concerning graduation, prom, pre-k registration, etc. when those details have been finalized.

McMinn County Schools Drive-thru Meals will be available Monday and Thursday of next week.
